Panther Ausf GCould be at Bovington in the UK.
Sorry my iPads playing up. Panzerkampfwagen V SDKFZ 171
Its a Panzer V Panther ausf. A, with Zimmerit, so probably captured in Normandy. Dunno where that one is, but it definitely isn't Bovington.
Panther A st Saumur?
Panther G.
I think it's a G as it has a proper machine gun sponson in the hull.
OK fellow rivet counters, Model A or G?This is what Tanktober is all about :-)
I stand corrected it's an Ausf A
Panther A, at Saumur
It's an A. The D had the flap for the hull MG and a different commander's cupola. The main difference between the A and G is that the hull side of the G slopes gradually towards the rear of the tank. And there are six more rivets.
Panther Ausf A with zimmerit. (And yes, it's definitely an A...)
The G didn't have the driver's vision slit in the glacis, driver drove via periscope only. (Also shape of hull, etc.)
Panther.
I walk past this one every day - life is good :)
