To mark the end of Tanktober week 3 we have another special guest submission, this time from my old gaming buddy "Oberst Owen". This one is quite the challenge...
I am enjoying this run of tanks as I lurk here. Normally I can guess them but this one has got me stumped (so give yourself a point). The running gear and tracks look like a Leopard the turret does not, the reactive armour disguises it very well. Too many bogies for any Centurion conversion and while enough for a Japanese type 10 clearly the turret is too small. I will check tomorrow when someone smarter than me gives it away. Cheers For doing this I have to check each day and am loving it!
Looks Soviet. Somewhere in Europe.
ReplyDelete?
ReplyDeleteRussian T-90 with lots of reactive armour.
ReplyDeleteOh I believe Arjun may be correct 7 road wheels. Well done jailers.
DeleteShould read jmilesr

ReplyDeleteIt's an Indian Arjun MBT
ReplyDeleteMy first thought was "What on earth have they done to that poor little Chieftain".
ReplyDeleteAs I have no idea what that is, I'll go with my gut reaction. It's a Chieftain somewhere under all that reactive armour.
Did not even know India made its own MBT. Very different.
ReplyDeleteT-90 with reactive armor.
ReplyDeleteActually this reminded me of the tank graveyard pics posted up on the web last March:

I'm going to go with a Romanian TR-125 with reactive armor.
ReplyDeleteBlimey! No idea. But that is a lot of reactive armour!
ReplyDeleteIt's a mock up of something. It's at bovington camp. the wheels/track look centurion, but too many road wheels.
ReplyDeleteWhen do we get the answers?
The day after Tanktober finishes!
