King Tiger number 213. Fought in the battle of the Bulge. It can be found outside the "December 1944 Historical Museum" in Stoumont, Belgium
King Tiger Tank 213 was disabled defending the Werimont Farm. After the war it was purchased for a bottle of cognac from America Army battlefield salvage units by the local innkeeper's wife
Ooh! I know this beast. Tiger II with Henschel turret, sits outside the La Gleize museum in the Ardennes. It was from a SS unit, and knocked out by American tanks. During the battle the gun barrel was actually shot off about half way along - I think the restored barrel on it now was actually partly from a Panther.
Woo, first post! King Tiger! Is that in the Ardennes?
