Beutepanzer T34/85. However it appears that it has been retrofitted with a german KwK36 88mm gun, the same as on the Tiger. This would be because Germany didn't produce any 85mm shells.
Interesting. Beutepanzer T34/85, but I don't think I've seen one with a muzzle break before. Was the gun added post war? As to where, I would have said Eastern Europe, but I know there were a few captured T34s used in the west, and you haven't been to Russia... Saumur? A museum in the Ardennes?
A nicely weathered T-33/85 beutepanzer

DeleteT34/85 Beutepanzer. A captured tank and modified by the Germans for their use.
ReplyDeleteM3 Scout Car also known as a White Scout Car behind.
DeleteAs per the others a capture T-34 Buetepanzer
ReplyDeleteAs they said!

ReplyDeleteIn the background is a US White scout car.
Yeah I noticed the muzzle break, do not think it's an 88mm though. Barrel is not thick enough.
DeleteLooks like it might have a Hohenstaufen division marking on the left front fender.

ReplyDeleteT-34/85, captured and refitted by the Germans.
ReplyDeleteI've seen a lot of KV-1s and T-34/76s but not a /85 done up like this.
Panzerkampfwagen T-34 747(r) with a German 75mm KwK 40 L/48. No idea where it is.
ReplyDeleteT 34/85 at the Oorlogsmuseum in Arnhem. The muzzle break imho is a dummy though as it doesn't look like either German or Russian.
