Beer Pancakes

Its Sunday morning of a long weekend here - time for breakfast pancakes.  The grown-ups got special ones...

Ingredients
100g plain flour, sifted
pinch of salt
2 eggs
200ml milk
75ml beer (Man Cave Brewery product of course)

Method:
  • sift the flour and salt into a large mixing bowl
  • crack and add eggs
  • whisk everything together gradually adding small quantities of the milk and beer mixture
  • carry on until you have a smooth batter, with the consistency of thin cream.
  • get your frying pan really hot, with some oil in it
  • add a dollop of batter
  • Cook until golden brown...flipping being optional, but true Men always flip as high as they can
  • Scoff down with toppings as desired.
Now I'm ready to go do some painting and modelling.  I'll get another batch of home brew on today too!

  1. I got worried this week when I realised I was down to my last 150 bottles of home brew....
