Kriegsmarine Crew

A recent offering of mine for the painting challenge, netting me 30 handy points!
This Kriegsmarine landing party is clearly geared up and ready for action.

Lead by their dashing, red bearded Captain they pack a lot of firepower (including an MG42) to get whatever job needs to be done and get back to their Schnell or Unterseeboot for a quick getaway with their prizes.  28mm "Grey Wolves" figures by Artizan.

Any similarities of the red bearded Captain to a real person are coincidental...?

An Awesome time!

The lad and I got back late last night from our NZ adventure at their 20th Scout Jamboree.  What a fantastic time we had there, especially the very friendly people and wonderful terrain.  We enjoyed all sorts of scouty activities and generally had a ball.  This was my 9th trip to the Land of the Long White Cloud, and there are many more to come I'm sure!  Thanks for a great time Kiwis, you have a beautiful country  :-D

Survivors of the dreaded "Challenge Valley"! (post hosing off - those shirts were once white)

In the meantime, I've come home to find that the Dux has indeed taken advantage of my Community Service time to paint like a demon and take a large lead over me in the Painting Challenge.  Naturally , any points earned in this period are considered null and void...

The 250+ odd strong Australian contingent to the NZ Jamboree - outstanding fellows and Scouts one and all!

On the scoreboard !!

Hi all, as Paul alluded to earlier, I've been silent in the painting challenge as I have been moving house....finally, the GarageCave is 50percent complete, and I have a painting area once more...so today, between cleaning old houses and doing washing in some dodgy hotel miles from anywhere, I was able to whip up a Villain for the bonus round...I present my first submission for the painting challenge , Major Heisst...

Hopefully, that's a whopping 50 points , but more importantly, I'm back baby, I'm back....:-)

Mega Shark vs Mecha Shark

As if there wasn't enough to look forward to in 2014! Awesome, in an ultimately cheesy way, and it appears we' may get to see Sydney destroyed - Bwahahaha!  And yes, its by the creators of Sharknado!

How good is the look on the pilots' faces at the end!
