A new Man Cave

The heavy blog silence is indicative of the hobby desert that is moving house, new jobs, new schools etc.  On the plus side we are now in our new house which is lovely old Victorian style cottage right on Sydney Harbour.  On the down side it doesn't have much of a Man Cave and its not quite functional yet...

As a result my challenge totals are looking a little the worse for wear:

Looks like my 250 points was a little overly ambitious but in my defence the degree of difficulty has been quite high. I do, however, have a plan to see me have a unit submission.  I might not achieve my initial goal, but I'm determined not to be one of those zero points guys.

On a plus side the war hound has returned to us after 20 months away while we were in the States.
Here he is appreciating our new back yard, which isn't too bad.

  2. Pretty nice, shame about the man Cave but that will come in due time I am sure. What breed is the dog if I might ask...

    1. The Man Cave will evolve and I'll adjust my "needs to suit" appropriately. I just wont be as spoiled as I was before with lots of space for books and a standing table etc.

Spark is a Beagle (like Snoopy!)

    1. All in good time indeed. Which would be fine except for the tick tick tick of the AHPC!

  6. The war hound looks happy with his new home :)

250 points in 5 weeks should be doable if you can get your painting and basing bits out - fifty 28mm foot figures is a Saga warband. Go on, you know you can do it :)

  9. That's just lovely. It's nice when one of the moves drops you somewhere like that.

Just as well. We'd have to have words, despite the fact you somewhat outrank me :-)

  13. Amazing view! You have a lot of other stuff going on. In due time I'm sure the cave will ready. (I have barely even been able to get my cave up since we moved, and it's been coming up on a Year)
