500 followers! Thanks indeed!


After many months (actually around a year) sitting around the 470-80 mark, we recently started creeping up again and jumped to 502 followers this week!

Not sure what that means in these days of Google followers and Google+1 ing things instead, but its humbling to thin so many people have dropped into our corner of the blogosphere and enjoyed it.  Thanks indeed :-)

    I would say congratulations but you passed 500 ages ago - Feedly is reporting 113 readers using their tool and I understand that will not show up on Googles figures :-) So lets raise a glass to 613 and aim for 700!!!!!!

      I'm using the Blogger "join my site" feature - not heard of Feedly before?

      Feedly is a reader that can access any site that has an RSS feed e.g. Blogger and Wordpress. I have over 100 sites set up and it only shows me summaries of those sites with new articles since I last used the program. It syncs across its own iPhone app, Mac app and Safari (but those other strange android / pc things are supported as well) so I can get to the sites from anywhere.

      I used to use Google reader (and that updated the blogger counts) but Google stopped supporting it then closed it so I moved to Feedly from www.feedly.com I've now been using the free version since it was launched and it saves me hours of surfing to keep up with the blogs.
