Doing some research for a Blood Bowl stadium I intend to build this year, I came across this wonderfully detailed showpiece by GW (though the spectators are conspicuously absent). Typically immobile, it would nonetheless look pretty good in the Man Cave!

Very impressive Stadium !
ReplyDeleteHow are you planing your own to look like?
Best regards dalauppror
Probably something more along the lines of grandstands, which will be easier to store (I move a lot) and need less space to setup.
DeleteI agree, is Impressive!!!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see who shows up in the stands!
ReplyDeleteDo Orks eat peanuts or hot dogs?
Brian
Goblin flavoured Nachos!
DeleteVery pretty, how much is a season ticket?
ReplyDeleteIts made by GW so probably more than we could afford!
DeleteThat is a fantastic looking Stadium, right out of the Blood Bowl PC game (or vice versa?)
ReplyDeleteLooks nice, always thought about making a custom pitch myself.
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Definately a show stoppingt bit of kit for the Man Cave.
ReplyDeleteThats a pretty sweet looking set up. I have no doubt you will come up with some equally as good
ReplyDeleteThanks mate!

They did a series of post on the construction:

Note that it has the wrong number of squares in the end zones and that they made it with 1 inch squares which are smaller than the ones on the normal board.
Thanks for that mate, I hadn't seen that before.
DeleteCant fathom why they would make it with smaller squares though, it would really limit figure placement in tight bunches
wow! puts the green rag i use to shame!
ReplyDeleteVery "pleasing to the eye."
