To diverge from my recent Vietnam theme, this week's release of Fury Road (aka Mad Max 4) and a revamped version of Car Wars in recent times has a range of gamers going ga-ga for some offensive driving fun and I am not immune... So I've got the lad onboard, the old GW Dark Future rules in hand, a bunch of cheap hot wheels cars and its time to hit the road! If this tickets your fancy too, the following results of my Google research will be of interest to you.

Thanks very much Tamsin - I'll add those in!
DeleteEvery so often I remember playing Dark Future in the 80's fondly and wonder if I should take it out and give it another go but looking at the rules they seem pretty complicated. Definitely GW 80's style stuff.
ReplyDeleteGive it a go! The rules are definitely improved by adding the White Line Fever supplement
DeleteI still have my hard copy of White Line Fever as well as the downloaded complete set of rules that the GW site had up before they changed the site to pure store.
DeleteThere are some good PDFs about which have all the rules and WD articles as well. Email me if you want me to hook you up.
DeleteThanks for all the links! Will be checking these out for sure.
ReplyDeleteMAD MAX FURY ROAD. Sensational movie. So awesome. Seriously. Freaking cool!
