The Warband of Gizar the Ironic

Gizar the Ironic - a badly misunderstood man.

The Lad and I spent an hour today rolling up his warband for next weekend's Viking Raid using the 'Age of Blood' Rules.  It was a hoot.  Here is what we ended up with, starting with Renown 5 and 500 silver pieces to keep the warbands small and manageable.

1. Warband Leader: Gizar the Ironic .  Level 2 Hero. Traits: Blood Thirsty, Medic. Chainmail, Shield, Helmet, Sword, Axe
2.  Hagbard the hairy, Champion, Level 1 Hero. Trait: Frightening Appearance. Chainmail, Shield, Helmet, Sword.
3. Redver the Long-Lasting, Huscarl. Leather Armour, Shield, Saxe, Axe
4. Sigard the Paranoid Viking, Huscarl. Leather Armour, Shield, Axe
5. Dag the Dangerous, Huscarl. Leather Armour, Shield, Axe
6. Otter the Snotter, Huscarl. Leather Armour, Shield, Axe
7. Angrin the Annoyed, Huscarl. Leather Armour, Shield, Axe
8. Vikur the Viking, Huscarl. Leather Armour, Shield, Axe
9. Egil the Eagle Eater, Huscarl. Leather Armour, Shield, Bow, Spear
10. Edda the Accurate, Huscarl. Leather Armour, Shield, Bow, Spear

Yes, the Lad named them all himself.  Actually, Gizar started off as Gizar the Merciful (with Medic as his initial trait), but when we applied the experience from the previous game he randomly selected Blood Thirsty as a character trait!
